2. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal information for several legitimate purposes, including:

• Facilitating job applications and candidate selections for recruiters.
• Powering AI resume tailoring, parser schema verification, and mock interview tools.
• Sending platform updates, OTP codes, job alerts, and email notifications.
• Monitoring security settings, preventing bot attacks, and enforcing rate limiting.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only under these circumstances:

• With Employers: When a Job Seeker applies for a job, or makes their profile searchable.
• Service Providers: Secure third-party payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PhonePe) and AI model endpoints (Gemini/Google Cloud API).
• Legal Requirements: To comply with legal processes or protect the rights and safety of our platform and users.

4. Data Protection and Security

NexHire implements enterprise-grade physical, technical, and administrative security controls: resumes are stored in a non-executable directory outside the public web root, and login credentials use secure BCRYPT encryption. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Cookies Policy

We use essential cookies to manage user login states, protect sessions from cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and support theme selections. We also use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand usage statistics.
